According to Popbitch, Netflix has had a 1,100% increase in orders for Ronald Reagan movies since his death. Most popular so far: Hellcats of the Navy.
Check out WeirdCurves for an alternate way D.C. residents can mourn Reagan's passing. If they aren't at work today, that is.

Sweet, a White Stripes site written in Russian. (Via largeheartedboy.)
The "About Site" text translates to:
A site dedicated to the rock group the White Stripes, the work of which is not yet very popular in Russia. Maybe it's a bitter truth, but fans of this kind of music are everywhere, and that is why there were found two people, that is Vic and Kitty, who decided to create probably the only in site in [runet?] totally dedicated to the Stripes. We hope that it will become a fan page of the group where many can find out about them...
We accept interesting propositions and ideas related to maintainance of the site. Also, if you have something that isn't on the site about the White Stripes, you can send it to our e-mail.
If you want to exchange links, write to us! We will be very glad :-)
The Fort Reno concert series is back, kicking off with The Carlsonics, The Fatales and The Hard Tomorrows on Saturday, June 19. For those of you going to see mclusky at the Black Cat on the 19th, no problem: all of the Fort Reno shows begin at 7:15 and end at 9:30.
After that, all of the shows are held on Mondays and Thursdays. Every Monday and Thursday this summer, to be exact. Check out the full schedule here and let me know what you know about these bands, since I've heard of very few of them.
Vote for Kerry, because I want to go to Cuba. Otherwise, vote for Kerry because you hate Bush. Where I live, it doesn't matter for whom I vote, so I get to throw my vote away on a third party candidate. (Via Thighs Wide Shut.)
Oh, and when in Adams Morgan (yeah, I know, it happens to the best of us), check out the recently-opened Leftbank. The drinks are very expensive, but if you're going to splurge, try their version of the apple martini, which involves some sort of apple/tea/vodka infusion. It was wonderful, and I'm not an apple martini fan. The food was really good too -- I can vouch for the tuna burger.
